My 8 Borders all love it. Tackle it before I can get out the avery door. They love Sisle. Even eat the flowers and stalks.

Loves them!
by: Joop

My young one year old loves cooked carrots, more than anything else I think (I also feed her various fruits & eggs) Sweet Baby carrots, well cooked so she can bite chucks out of them.
One of the biggest problems I had was how to anchor the pieces so she can bite out of them (as opposed to spending a lot of time cutting into very small pieces). I found the solution with a small desert fork that I slide through the bottom of the piece, (sharp tine tips down!) and then anchor the fork to her feeding bowl with a clothespin. What also works is sliding the tips of two of the tines onto the sides of her sitting bar of the feeding bowl if yours is so constructed. This will hold the fork in place. She is amazingly strong and will rip the setup apart if not solidly secured.
This will also work great for fruits and fried egg but not for hard boiled egg, the whites & yolk are to fragile. Stay tuned.

I WOULDN'T SAY ALL CANARIES LOVE CARROTS SINCE I HAVE TRIED FEEDING MY CANARY CARROTS BUT HE WILL NOT EAT THEM. SO I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT MOST LOVE THEM AND OTHERS DON'T FROM MY EXPERIENCE.
