There's a canary here somewhere

My Twitty and Whity love Apple and rocket leaves and lettuce plus their seeds and love eggs and sometimes I give them steamed rice.

And some weeks white bread which I give them as a treat as long as keep on flying so I am not worried if they will grow fat .

I leave their cages open so they are always on the go 🐣

Hello, I am just learning with my canaries but have found that their favorite fresh treat foods are silverbeet/spinach, broccoli and a slice of apple. I have tried many fruits - pear, grapes, mandarin, rock melon, nectarine and peaches, but their very favorite is a slice of cored apple.

Well! it's a really great and wonderful advice on keeping birds. The thing is you feed them well your tips is good as well as you set them free so they may fly. It's good. Oh I forgot to mention My twitty n Whity love broccoli , I gave them steamed broccolin once or twice in a week to keep their lungs strong 🐣

That is so cool. I would be so afraid not to lose them if I leave mine free. But I guess it's a must because of the diet. Cool!

Good job. That all sounds great...except maybe the bread.

A nibble of white bread is a great treat for canaries once in awhile.

I would just recommend it is not done often :-)
