Maybe A Canary Illness.

"Hi, I want to know if my canary is sick because he coughs sometimes and before that he had air sac mites.

I don't know how to say it in perfect english. That worry it me so I hope you have an answer for me. Please help me at..."

Well, coughing or sneezing is definitely a sign of air sac mites but also of respiratory infections of bacteria or fungus. It's difficult to know exactly what's causing the coughing.

I would treat with Scatt or other mite treatment.

If it doesn't clear up after 2 treatments I would go ahead and try an antibiotic
followed up with probiotics.

my yellow canary has a big red behind NEW
by: Mary

I would really appreciate if you can tell me about my canary bird. He has a big red behind. I don't know why and he's fluffed but he still eats and talks to me.

How can I treat this.
