Vegetables and herbs my canaries go nuts for...

I have tried soak seed and sprout seed. However I work like a lot of people and have a family so time is limited.
My canaries still get greens along with seeds grit and fine oyster shell.
However I wanted to give them a buffet they would thoroughly enjoy. So I buy a good quality frozen veg mix from the supermarket. It usually consists of carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and peas. I defrost in warm water, drain them really well, then I blitz them in a blender and mix in a good quality egg food and chopped parsley which they go mad for.
They know when they see the trough the buffet is ready. They along with my finches and elegants all feast until they are full. It's lovely to see them enjoying their meal. There's even a few squabbles!!!
I also feed this to my budgies, doves, parrotlets and rosellas who all along with the canaries thoroughly enjoy each day.
